The Agricultural Heritage Center & Museum was founded in 1986 to offer the community a view of the tools that our forefathers depended on and the lifestyle they led. Exhibits showcase a wide variety of antique farm machinery, horse-drawn implements, woodworking and metalworking tools, and turn-of-the-century household articles. Many of the items on display at the Ag Museum were donated by local families whose ancestors farmed, ranched and worked the frontiers of Boerne, Kendall County and the Texas Hill Country. The Center's founding members were: Richard Magers, Edward Albretch, Gilbert Langbein, Clarence Dietert, Walter Bergmann, Richard Chapman, Don Gourley, Louis Magers, Gray Majirus and Walter Pfeiffer The Agricultural Heritage Center & Museum is a non-profit organization which relies upon volunteers and the support of the community.
